INGREDIENTS
1 cup (2 sticks) butter at room temperature.
1 cup granulated sugar.
1 cup brown sugar.
3 tbsp. Cocoa power
1 cup peanut butter
½ tsp. salt if you use sweet butter.
2 eggs.
2 tsp. vanilla extract.

tsp. baking soda.
¾ tsp. baking powder.

cups all-purpose flour.
½ cup unsalted peanuts for decoration.
DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven at 375° F - 190° C
In a bowl mix flour, baking soda, baking powder , salt if needed.
In a mixing bowl beat butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar until
creamy.
Mix in the cocoa powder.
Add and mix the peanut butter.
Add and beat in the mix the eggs and vanilla extract.
Incorporate the flour mix and beat it in.
Roll the dough in parchment paper, about 2 inches in diameter and cut
it in 2” pieces. Place the slices of dough in a greased sheet pan. With a fork
mark some lines for decoration.
Place a few peanuts on top of the cookies dough. Bake for about 10 - 12
minutes.
Do not overcook cookies, because they will become hard.
The dough can be rolled in parchment paper and freeze for next time.
You can use half of the dough and freeze the
rest.
