INGREDIENTS
2 pork chops
1 minced garlic clove
1 tsp. minced ginger
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. ground pepper
2 tbsp. oyster sauce
1 tsp. sesame oil
2 scallions. Cut it thinly in oblique angle.
DIRECTIONS
In a bowl mix garlic clove,
ginger, salt, ground pepper, oyster sauce and sesame oil.
Coat with these ingredients both sides of the pork chops. Let it
marinate for 1 hour at room temperature. Cook the pork chops in a hot
grill.
THAI RED RICE WITH PRUNES
½ cup Thai red rice
1 cup water
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tsp. minced ginger
¼ cup red peppers. Cut it in Julianne
¼ cup yellow peppers. Cut in Julianne
½ cup scallions. Cut it thinly slice in oblique angle
2 tbsp. diced prunes
METHOD
In a pot bring to a boil the
water and add the rice. Lower the flame and let it cook for 33 minutes
approximately, until rice is soft and the liquid is absorbed.
Heat up the oil in a frying pan and sauté the ginger. Add red peppers
and yellow peppers and cook it slightly, then add the scallions, prunes, rice
and mix it all together. Serve hot.
GRILLED PINEAPPLE WITH ROASTED SHREDDED COCONUT
1 peeled pineapple and cut in wheels.
¼ cup coconut. Roast it in the oven
METHOD
With a cookie cutter remove the center of the pineapple.
Heat up the grill well, and mark both sides of the pineapple
Serve it with sprinkle roasted coconut on top.
