INGREDIENTS
20 oz. lean beef, thinly sliced across the grain.
1 lb. broccoli florets, peeled and sliced the stems, blanched.
2 tbsp. vegetable oil.
1 tbsp. garlic cloves, finely chopped.
1 tsp. hot red pepper.
1 tsp. sesame oil.
¾ cup chicken broth.
1 tbsp. soy sauce.
¾ tsp. salt
½ tsp. sugar.
3 tsp. cornstarch.
PREPARATION
In a bowl or cup mix the sesame oil, chicken broth, soy sauce, salt, sugar and cornstarch.
Dry the beef with paper towel if there is any blood or juices in it.
In a very hot wok or saute pan, pour the oil and fry the beef until brown.
Remove beef from pan and fry the garlic and red pepper.
Add to the pan the chicken broth mix. Let it thick.
Add beef and broccoli and heat it up.
Serve immediately.
