GERMAN TURKEY MEATLOAF


PORTIONS: 5

INGREDIENTS
20 oz. ground turkey
1 beaten egg
2 minced garlic cloves
½ tbsp. parsley
½ tbsp. fresh chopped oregano
¼ cup finely chopped onions
1 tbsp. finely chopped scallions
1½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. ground black pepper
½  cup plain bread crumbs
STUFFING
3 hardboiled eggs cut in half
1 large carrot cut in ¼ lengthwise and cooked
4 scallions


METHOD
Weight and cut all the ingredients necessary for the recipe.
In a bowl mix well all the ingredients except for the stuffing. 

In a baking pan sheet pan place a parchment paper and spread the turkey mix forming a rectangle. 

Place the eggs at the center length wise. Arrange the carrots at the side of the eggs and the scallions after. 


Lift one side of the paper and roll it towards the center. Grab the other side and roll it towards the center as well. At lengthwise, press at the center to joint it together. 


Take the paper off rolling the loaf and leaving the joint down.


Preheat the oven at 375°F and cook the loaf for about 35 minutes. Top should be lightly brown and the turkey cooked inside. It should have an internal temperature of 165° or over.


Serve with mashed potatoes.
